After-Sun Oatmeal Bath Recipe

🌞🕶Stay in the sun a bit too long without a sunscreen refresh? When a burn is particularly sore (or sun blisters occur), a soothing oatmeal bath mixed with a few key essential oils (I’ll add links for you) can soothe and support your tender skin.

In a bowl mix:

💧 1 cup of oatmeal

💧 5 drops frankincense essential oil

💧 5 drops lavender essential oil

💧 5 drops copaiba essential oil

🛀Add to *LUKEWARM* bath water (you do NOT want the water to be hot🔥) and allow the oatmeal and oil mixture to bloom.

Soak 10-15 minutes and allow the colloidal properties of the oatmeal to soothe the skin and essential oils to support discomfort and inflammation. Follow up with your favorite body lotion to help keep your skin moist.

When was the last time you had a really bad burn? What did you do to support it? Comment below!
