Enjoy Bloat-Free Dining With THIS VITAL Supplement!
Anyone else deal with unpleasant “after effects” of eating?
We love good food in the Marrelli house. LOTS OF IT. I mean, I’m a Cuban married to an Italian. Food is central to our heritage. The thing is, that food we eat doesn’t always love us back.
Sometimes after eating even the healthiest foods, like a salad or a veggies, you can end up feeling uncomfortable, bloated and gross. What’s the deal with that? Really? Must you really have to choose between eating the foods you love or living in yoga pants (unless you WANT too) so you’ve got the room to ‘expand’ after eating certain foods?
If you’re like me, you’d rather spend more time enjoying the food you love without digestive probs like:
-Bloating
-Gas
-Burping
-Feeling like you swallowed a rock
-Or needing a big nap because all your energy is zapped when your body starts breaking down food.
Ohhhh sister, THIS is where digestive enzymes come in…
YES, It’s 100% true that your body should make many of the digestive enzymes needed to breakdown food.
When food gets broken down into the good stuff like amino acids, vitamins, and minerals… the body is better able to use nutrients. As a result, you are well-nourished and have more energy because your body is better able to break down and absorb the food you eat.
However, last I checked, we don’t live In a perfect world: We don’t have all the enzymes we need in our gut.
There are many factors that can affect our body’s ability to produce enough enzymes such as:
-Age
-Stress level
-Crappy gut health
-Chewing gum (of all things!)
-Genetics
-Lack of daily movement (exercise)
-Changes in diet
-Drinking alcohol
-Poor sleep
-A diet poor lacking in variety
So regardless of whether your diet sucks or you eat pretty darn well, or you live a healthy lifestyle….your
body might not be producing the number of digestive enzymes that your body actually needs to thrive.
Remember that kale salad you ate for lunch yesterday? Yeah, you were trying SO hard to do something good for yourself, but it left you feeling bloated. Well, the reason why is because your body doesn’t even make the enzymes like cellulase to help digest that kale! greens!
THIS is exactly where a good digestive enzyme supplement can help you out.
With SO MANY BRANDS out there on the market, it can be overwhelming to know which one to take. To help make your life easier, here are three brands that I know well….. because I have experience with them all!
WHHHHAAAAT? Why on earth would I take all of these? SIMPLE. Because my gut was DESTROYED by a C.Difficile infection 7 years ago and I have very specific needs for my gut. Plus, after much trial and error, I have found what works best for MY BODY. Most people don’t use different brands, but my body is thriving becuase of the different enzmes and benefits each brand offers.
So, here is the part you’ve been waiting for!
THE TWO BRANDS I TAKE DAILY ARE:
#1 doTERRA’s “Terrazyme”
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these because they are super strong, yet very gentle on my tummy — which is hyper sensitive. Terrazyme has HCI (hydrochloric acid) as well as a tummy tamer blend of Peppermint, Ginger, and Caraway Seed in them too. Feel free to CLICK HERE to learn more about them.

#2 Truvani’s Easy Enzymes
These enzymes have been wonderful for my tummy as well. They contain 9 different enzymes and have no HCI (hydrochloric acid) in them. If you have trouble swallowing pills, these can be opened up and put right into your mouth (they don’t taste like anything really!) and swallow with some water with no worry about your tooth enamel. TWO MORE BRAND RECOMENDATIONS
Thorne Bio-Gest Enzymes and Pure Digestive Ultra
I have used both Thorne and Pure products and a lot of the practioners I work with use them as well. They are quality companies!
Bio-Gest helps digest fats, proteins, and carbs by supplementing HCl, pepsin, pancreatin, and ox bile, which can be depleted by many things, including age, antacid overuse, and gallbladder removal.

HOW TO TAKE YOUR ENZYMES
1. I suggest that you take 2 enzymes with each meal you eat. There are many opinions out there, but keep it simple: You can take it before you eat, during the meal, or after. It’s really what works best for you!!! Just take note of what seems to work THE BEST and do that. What works well for me may not do a thing for you.
2. I also recommend that you take more after your evening meal. Why? The majority of your digestion is done while you are fast asleep! I take 4 at night. It’s been a game-changer for my body!
Happy Dining!
