Cucumber, Mango And Banana Smoothie

I recently started working with my friend Christiane from MINT Nutrition as some stuff came up in my recent labs that showed the need for more gut healing. Christiane is not just a nutritionist; She’s a freaking maverick when it comes to healing the human body using holistic and western methods. Listen, if NASCAR hires her to work with all of their race car drivers to help them manage their stress-induced health issues, then she’s gotta be amazing.

Christiane started me on a pretty intense, daily monitored, two — possibly 3 — month GI Detox to deal with the gut stuff. Part of this process also includes specialized nutrition to support my body as it goes through the detox and healing phases. This morning I pulled out my nutrition plan and made myself this delicious smoothie. Y’all, I’m a total food snob and this was top-notch yum-fest. No tastebud deprivation and I was full for a good while.

Christiane gave me permission to share this recipe on my blog so please, give it a try and let me know how you like it!
